but its not really that great on my skin


I still have zits and redness on my nose espically and it gets dry.

I would suggest you stop the use of the proactive and seek a professional. proactive is a product you can't use on a regular basis because it is designed to dry the skin out this is why it's designed for over active sebaceous glands. frequent use can over dry the skin. I would suggest seeking an esthetictian and have the dermaplanning procedure. It is the best. it will exfoliate the first layer of skin, and balance the PH. Once you have the procedure you would only need to have it done every 4 to 6 months just for maintenance. Sometimes we over treat the skin creating a problem, when we created it ourselves. I have been there and this is what was told to me. Read my skincare article. In between visits I use shiseido, it's the best!
I use Shiseido but it's a bit expensive. At the mall, you can ask for help and they will recommend what to use if you have dry skin or any other. The product cleans really well, it is good for sensitive skin, and smells nice.
