Help on zits and blemishes?

i have oily skin, and i tried using proactive and stuff like that but it doesnt help, my face is NOT covered with them, but i would like my face to look nice with nothing of that stuff. any ideas......Help on zits and blemishes?
First of all, no one has flawless skin. Some people have it better than others, but thats just genes and stuff. Go to www.freewebs .com/reelbeauty11 for skin and beauty tips. I know its for young girls, but it works for anyone!

I know some people who have tried ProActive and it worked, but I also know some others who have tried it and it made it worse :( I know some who have put rubbing alchol on their skin or peroxcide to dry up the pimples. It also kills bacteria :) . Also, try going to a dermotoligist, or ask your regular doctor. Often times the regular doctor, who knows more about your med. history and whatnot can help you more than a dermatologist.

are you a vegetarian? That might have something to do with it. Its worth checking into.

Try dabbing toothpaste or honey on your zits before you go to bed - works wonders.

Overall, remember that beauty counts more on the inside than on the outside, and your true friends will love you for you, and not your skin.

Oh, and try a different kind of foundation, if you wear it. Try to use a kind with lots of water in it. It looks great and doesn't clog pores half as bad. And check your habits - do you prop your chin up a lot with your hands? That might cause the acne as well. Look for the cause, as well as the cure.Help on zits and blemishes?
try washing your face more like twice a day
drink lots of water
Well, its important to have a daily routine. You should wash your face in the morning and at night. For a daily routine of keeping your face clean, here are some tips:

1. Always drink lots of water! Your face needs to stay hydrated.

2. Cleanse your face daily! Neutrogena is a good brand but find what works for you! They even have face washes for oil skinned people. I am currently using these Olay wipes. You wet them and they foam up. They have been one of the best deep cleansing face washes I've used so far. I also like to use this anti-blackhead cream cleanser either by itself or after I wash my face. Its by Biore: Pore Perfect, its called Warming Anti-Blackhead Cream Cleanser. Its in a green tube and it ';heats'; and ';treats';! You wet your face, dry your hands, squirt some of it into your hands, and as soon as the cream makes contact with your wet face, you can feel a nice warm sensation. This stuff works well.

3. Definitely need to use anything oil-free. That is the best way to go. But make sure that after you cleanse your face that you use moisturizer. After cleansing your face, it takes away all the oiliness. So if you don't moisturize/hydrate your face, it will produce more oil which is horrible for your pores leading to more acne.

4. Try to avoid using anything with alchohol in it. If you do, make sure to use moisturizer for SURE! But no alchohol on your face is better. :) Again, it dries your face which can lead to more oil produced.

5. Also, something I've been using recently by Neutrogena is their ';Oil-Free Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment (Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment) with Micro Clear Technology. This stuff has worked wonders on my facial acne as well as some acne I've suffered on my upper back area.

6. LAST thing but MOST important. Again, have a daily routine! Everynight I wash my face, put on a blackhead medication, then lastly use my acne stress control. In the mornings before I put on my makeup, I always put on moisturizer (which EVERYONE will tell you, you should ALWAYS do this first even if you don't wear makeup).

Other tips: The best way to go is drink lots of water but try using Neutrogena's Oil-Free Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment (Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment) with Micro Clear Technology. It makes acne go down within the next day. Try using Neutrogena's Skin Clearing Oil-Free Spot Concealer, it conceals and treats at the same time. BIG THING, don't touch your face more than you have to, don't try to pop pimples unless they are totally on the surface. Then you should wash your hands and try to pop them with a Q-Tip or if you use your fingers make sure they are completely CLEAN and that you wash them afterwards and that you cleanse the spot and put acne treatment on it immediately. When you put concealer and/or Foundation on, Don't use your hands! EVER! Always use a sponge application or something like it. You'll find these at Walgreens, Walmart, etc...

Also, when apply makeup its good to put on powder to seal it all. Only apply in the T-Zone. The T-Zone includes: your nose, your chin, your cheeks (not cheekbones just cheeks), and your forehead area between your eyes/eyebrows.

Hope this helps! :)
